About me
With a double major in journalism and psychology from Indiana University, Kristina has 20+ years of experience in public relations and marketing. In her role as official spokesperson for United Airlines and Associate Director of Communications at the Denver Humane Society, Kristina gained valuable experience in media relations, marketing, fundraising, strategic planning, and crisis communications. Her strong leadership, communication and organizational skills enabled her to effectively lead the founding effort for Lake Country Classical Academy, a K-12 charter school in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Her experience as founding board chair for the past five years, along with board training and guidance received from Hillsdale College, has given her great insight on how to be a healthy and effective governance board. Kristina currently serves as the Communications Director for the Hillsdale College K-12 Education Office, working remotely from her home in Wisconsin.
